Fidelity Sportswear was established in Boston in 1941 in a small industrial loft. The owners, Gerald and Stewart Webber, entered the business back to the late 1960’s when their father had them working as teenagers. It was during these early years that both Gerald and Stewart learned the business from patterns to shipping.
Fidelity’s outerwear business has increased over these 68 years from selling pea coats and bomber jackets to the U.S. military to being a worldwide company with distribution in many fine stores in the North America, Japan, and Europe.
Fidelity is pleased to have kept its association with the Department of Defense through Homeland Security as its classic pea coat has been GSA certified.
